OVERVIEW
The Foundation in Accountancy (FIA) is a professional qualification offered by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with the aim of providing accounting skills, competencies and knowledge at the technician level.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
1.1Applicants must have completed the Botswana General Certificate of General Education (BGCSE), or its equivalent, and have achieved at least a pass in any of the following: Mathematics, Commerce, Accounting or Business Studies. OR
1.2Other qualifications may be considered on their merit as alternatives. This option is subject to approval by the Academic Affairs Board.
