Application Process

Applying to BA ISAGO University as an international student involves the following steps:

1. Submit your application online: Visit our website and complete the application form HERE.
2. Receive your admission letter: This document is essential for your study permit/visa application.
3. Prepare for your study permit: Ensure you have all necessary documents, such as certified copies of your passport, birth certificate, and proof of payment.

Arrival in Botswana

Arrival at the Airport or Bus Rank

The IAO will arrange to pick up students from the airport or bus rank upon arrival in Botswana. To ensure smooth coordination, students are required to share their travel information and itinerary with the IAO at internationalaffairs@baisago.ac.bw at least one week before their arrival. This allows the office to make the necessary preparations and provide seamless transportation to the university.

Arrival on Campus

Upon reaching the campus, please report to the International Affairs Office. Our friendly staff will guide you through the next steps, including campus tours and initial registration.

BA ISAGO University has campuses in three vibrant cities:

  • 📌 Francistown (Northern Botswana): Haskins Building, Plot 1602/03, Off Sam Nujoma Road, Light Industrial Site, Francistown

Registration Process

Immigration Procedures

Study Permit Application Requirements

  • ✅ Certified copy of page 1 and 2 of passport showing validity period of not less than six months.
  • ✅ Two recent coloured passport-size photos.
  • ✅ Residential address in Botswana.
  • ✅ Admission Letter (Acceptance letter).
  • ✅ Proof of Payment or sponsorship.
  • ✅ Payment of P1,500 for immigration services.

Orientation

Orientation Day introduces students to BA ISAGO’s academic and support services. Key activities include:

Extracurricular Activities

Students are encouraged to participate in various extracurricular activities, including sports (netball, basketball, soccer, athletics), cultural events, and interest-based clubs and societies ( debate, chess etc.). These activities provide opportunities to develop leadership skills, forge friendships, and enrich the overall university experience.

The Uni Buddy peer mentorship program connects new international students with experienced local and international student mentors. This initiative helps students navigate the university environment, adapt to cultural differences, and access academic guidance from their peers.
