
Prof Lone Elizabeth Ketsitlile
Professor Lone Elizabeth Ketsitlile holds a Ph.D in Reading Education from the University of Georgia, United States of America as a result of a Fulbright Scholarship from Federal US Government. Professor Ketsitlile also hold a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Sussex @ Brighton. Before that, Professor Ketsitlile graduated with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education and Bachelors Degree in English and History from the University of Botswana in the 90’s. Professor Ketsitlile is a seasoned scholar who has published extensively in literacy, teacher education and research methods in reputable journals all over the world. One of her scholarly work got special recognition in the reputable Canadian Journal of Native Education and has over a 100 citatiotions from scholars all over the world. She is passionate about literacy issues and justice for the marginalised and ‘other.’ She has won a number of awards in the USA, Sweden, South Africa and Botswana to carry out research and collaborative community work with colleagues.
She has also carried out consultancy projects with colleagues in South Africa and Botswana. Professor Ketsitlile has taught and held a number of key positions at Tonota College of Education, The University of Botswana and the Botswana International University of Science ad Technology. Currently, Professor Ketsitlile is the Dean of Teaching and Learning at BA ISAGO University.
