Dr Ruramayi Tadu
Dr. Ruramayi Tadu is a holder of a Ph.D. Degree in Business Management from the University of South Africa (2015-2018), Master of Business Administration specializing in Financial Services from the University of Nottingham, (1996-1997), Bachelor of Commerce Honors Degree in Banking from the National University of Science and Technology (1991-1994), and additionally a Diploma in Economic Impact Assessment from Molde University-Norway (2006).
Dr. Tadu joined the BA ISAGO community in 2008 and has since been appointed the third BA ISAGO President in January 2021, a position he currently occupies. He was appointed Acting President in 2019, before that he was the substantive Vice President of BA ISAGO University from 2018 August to December 2019. He was appointed BA ISAGO Vice President of Academic Affairs and Research, from 2013 to 2018; Executive Dean of Academic Programmes from April 2009 to March 2013; BA ISAGO University Campus Manager Francistown, Botswana from April 2008 to March 2009.
He also served as an Executive Dean , Faculty of Commerce for the National University of Science and Technology in Zimbabwe between May 2003 to March 2008 ; Chairperson, Department of Banking; The National University of Science and Technology from June 1999 to April 2002 ; Lecturer in International Banking, Foreign Exchange Management, and Risk Management, Department of Banking for the National University of Science and Technology between 1998 to 2008). Respectively he served as a Corporate Finance Analyst , at Zimbabwe Development Bank from January 1995January 1995 to May 1996.
His illustrious academic career began in 1996 when he joined the NUST as a staff development fellow where he was also appointed the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce. He rose through ranks from lecturer to Executive Dean of the Faculty of Commerce throughout 1997 to 2008.
Dr. Tadu has published 22 papers in refereed journals with his research interests being in the areas of Business Governance, Corporate Governance, and Educational Management and Leadership.
