RATIONALE 

The objective of the course is to enhance the performance of supporting staff and learners in the administration of justice by: 

• Equipping individuals with the knowledge of the Legal System and Court Procedures. 
• Enhancing their skills required in managing an office. 
• Focusing on customer care principles.

Successful completion of the requirements for CIL programme will enable candidates to enrol in Diploma level programmes. 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 

• Candidates must have obtained three (3) credits at BGCSE (or equivalent) including English language. Higher qualification will be an added advantage. OR 

• Special Entry: Candidates who do not have minimum academic qualifications stated above but have a minimum of two years uninterrupted work experience in a relevant or related field will be considered, or upon satisfying the requirements of the Academic Board. 

PROGRAMME DURATION 

The programme is taught over a period of one year divided into two semesters.
