RATIONALE 

The programme is designed to enhance the competencies and upgrade the knowledge of property managers, owners, consultants and practitioners. Changes in socio-economic and political environment make it essential for Real Estate Practitioners to stay abreast with developments in the property industry, specifically relating to marketing, laws, social dynamics planning and development, property management, financing, and investments. At the end of this programme, participants will have an extensive overview of the real estate industry and be knowledgeable in real estate laws and regulations.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 

• Candidates must have obtained at least four (4) Credits at BGCSE (or equivalent) including a pass in English language. OR

• Candidates must have completed a relevant 12 months Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA) recognised and accredited Certificate Programme in Real Estate. OR

• Special Entry: Candidates who do not have minimum academic qualifications stated above but have a minimum of three years relevant work experience will be considered. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may be used as an instrument for further assessment of mature-age entry candidates. 

Note: All pre-service applicants must successfully complete the BA ISAGO six months Foundation/Access/Bridging Courses 

PROGRAMME DURATION 

The Diploma programmes runs over a duration of twenty-four months for full-time learners (four semesters in twenty four-months, consisting of six months) and thirty months for part- time learners.
