The Faculty of the Built Environment, Arts and Science focuses on the study of planning, design, construction, economics and safety within the built environment. Its mission is to combine progressive theory with leading practice to educate the next generation of built environment professionals for Botswana, Africa and the global community. The Faculty is committed to excellence in teaching, learning, research and advanced professional practice. It aims to produce graduates who are independent, critical and creative thinkers and practitioners. Teaching spans a wide range of built environment disciplines, positioning the Faculty among a select group of universities worldwide and in Africa. This breadth of expertise enables graduates to design innovative solutions for an increasingly unpredictable future.
