Functions of the Admissions Division

The Admissions Division is responsible for coordinating and facilitating career guidance, applications, admissions, semester registrations, exemptions, credit transfers, student recruitment, sponsorship applications and the marketing of BA ISAGO programmes at the Botswana Human Resource Development Skills (BHRDS) Fair and other related events. The Division operates in accordance with established Admissions Policies and Guidelines that define the rules and procedures governing its daily operations.

BA ISAGO  is committed to attracting applicants with high intellectual potential from diverse social, racial, cultural and religious backgrounds. With more than two decades of presence in the tertiary education sector, the University takes pride in producing graduates who are making meaningful contributions within the employment market and entrepreneurial space. As a responsible corporate citizen, the University recognises affirmative action initiatives that support applications from less privileged backgrounds including orphans and vulnerable children, persons living with disabilities and participants in the Rural Area Dwellers Programme.

Applicants are required to meet prescribed entry requirements for admission into programmes. The general minimum entry requirements are five credits for degree programmes, four credits for diploma programmes and three credits for certificate programmes. Some programmes require specific subject credits such as English, Science or Mathematics. Detailed entry requirements are available in the University Programme Guide and Faculty brochures.
