About CPDC

BA ISAGO University’s Centre for Professional Development and Consultancy (CPDC), which started in 2008, is a unit of the University with a mandate to provide short-learning programmes and consultancy services. These programmes instil confidence and empower employees with relevant skills and knowledge, enabling them to form high performing teams.

Our Curriculum

The Centre has a remarkable portfolio of short-term training programmes ranging from business, commerce and management studies, health and social services, law and security, information technology, education and training as well as physical planning programmes to meet the diverse training needs of both corporate and individual clients. All its programmes are accredited and recognised by Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA) and the Human Resources Development Council (HRDC), hence, organisations being able to access the training levy.

Our Facilitators

The workshop facilitators are seasoned industry experts and academics who are abreast with the latest developments in the market and use their experience and knowledge to provide effective training. The CPDC approach to training is experiential learning which is the best approach for transferring skills and enriching learning with what the participants already know.

Our Approach To Training

Pre-training and Post- training meetings are conducted by the Centre as part of the training service offering. Pre-training meetings are conducted for the purposes of customising the training while post-training meetings act as monitoring and evaluation tools. The Centre offers face-to-face training and online training. We also offer in-house and outbound training to meet the preferences of our valued clients.
