Hello prospective student, ready to apply? BA ISAGO University accepts applications through the online application system or via paper-based application. Applications for admission are considered on a rolling basis and early submission is strongly encouraged. Applicants to the School of Graduate Studies and Professional Programmes are required to complete a separate application form and adhere to specific submission dates. Applicants are notified of admission decisions within a few weeks of completing the application process.

  • International students must meet Immigration requirements
  • Payments may be made online, by credit card or at the bank
  • Enquiries regarding tuition fees should be directed to the Student Fee Officen.
Study Permit Application
  • Admission letter from the Admissions Office
  • Copy of sponsorship letter or proof of payment
  • Two passport photographs
  • Passport pages showing passport number and date of birth
  • Certified copy of birth certificate
  • Payment of P1,500 Immigration fee
  • Valid passport required
  • Students must maintain a valid study permit throughout their stay

Student Accommodation
  • BA ISAGO  facilitates off-campus accommodation through preferred real estate agents

How to Apply as a Transfer/Second Degree Student

At BA ISAGO, we are a community dedicated to giving you the academic experiences and educational opportunities to prepare you for your future. In transferring to our campus in the heart of Botswana, you will join students from every district and countries around the world while finding your fit in one of more than 50 undergraduate programs of study. Entering as a transfer means you have completed or attempted coursework at a regionally accredited institution after graduating from secondary school. Students whom have only earned credit from a non-nationally accredited college and/or the military should apply as a freshman.

Complete the entire Application form thoroughly and submit the non-refundable, non-waivable application fee of P150.

BA ISAGO University offers graduate degrees at both the master’s and doctoral level through the different faculties. All our programs are career-focused to improve your chances for success when you graduate.

How to Apply as an International Candidate

International Registration & Support

BA ISAGO University welcomes international students with a fully online registration process, in accordance with COVID-19 regulations. To register, international students must meet Botswana’s immigration and admissions requirements. Comprehensive step-by-step registration guidelines are provided, and if you need any help, contact the Admissions Office at (+267) 395 7744 or email mompati.pitwane@baisago.ac.bw. Tuition and fees can be paid online, by credit card, cheque, or at the bank. For questions about tuition payments or account issues, reach the Student Fee Office at +267 395 7705/7744 (Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00).

Important Notes:

  • Emergency travel documents are NOT accepted for residence permits—only a valid passport is allowed.
  • Bring certified copies of all required documents to avoid delays and additional certification fees.
  • Students are responsible for maintaining the validity of their study permit during their stay in Botswana.

Accommodation Support

While BA ISAGO University does not provide direct accommodation, the University helps all international students secure safe and convenient housing near campus. We work with preferred real estate agents to find the best options for your needs and budget. To request this support, indicate your preference on your Acceptance Form.
