Career Opportunities
The BCom in Entrepreneurship equips Graduates with the knowledge and skills to launch and successfully manage their own businesses. Graduates can also pursue employment in Private Companies and Government Organisations that focus on Entrepreneurial Development in Botswana, including the Local Enterprise Authority (LEA), the Citizen Entrepreneur Development Agency (CEDA) and the Department of Youth.
In today’s dynamic Business environment, successful Organisations are often led by Corporate Entrepreneurs. Graduates of this Programme will therefore be equipped to contribute meaningfully and assume leadership roles in any Organisation.
Entry Requirements
- BGCSE Route: A minimum of 36 points at BGCSE (or equivalent), including a pass (Grade D) in English. Candidates must also meet Programme-specific subject requirements at BGCSE.
- Diploma Route: Completion of a relevant Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Special Entry: Candidates without the above Academic qualifications but with at least two years of relevant work experience may be considered, subject to approval by the Academic Affairs Board.
- Special Interest Groups: Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs) and other special interest groups may be admitted with a minimum of 31 points.
