Background

BA ISAGO’s curriculum is consistently responding to the ever-changing dynamics of the global economy. Its programmes are fully registered and accredited by the Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA).The University has a student population of close to 4000 with branches in Gaborone, Francistown and Maun. The University offers a wide range of professional, postgraduate, undergraduate, diploma and certificate-level programmes, delivered in full-time, evening, block release, weekend and online formats.

The University operates the School of Graduate Studies and Research (SGSR) alongside its four Faculties. The School provides central oversight of all graduate programmes and serves as a strategic hub for advancing postgraduate scholarship, research quality and research-led innovation across the Institution.

BA ISAGO’s programmes directly contribute to the development of Botswana’s human capital. The University’s philosophy and guiding business principles are anchored in the deliberate balancing of institutional sustainability with the academic and developmental needs of its Students. This approach aligns closely with Botswana’s National Human Resources Development Strategy and supports key pillars of Vision 2036, particularly those relating to skills development, employability and national competitiveness.

Botswana Bureau Of Standards ISO Certification

BA ISAGO University is certified by the Botswana Bureau of Standards (BOBS) under the BOS ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) standard. This certification confirms that the University’s QMS meets internationally recognised requirements for quality assurance, continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and effective Institutional management. The BA ISAGO QMS applies across all Divisions and Departments, encompassing all Institutional processes, activities and employees.

Quality Policy

BA ISAGO University is committed to the achievement, maintenance and enhancement of quality and excellence in all its academic offerings and services that go beyond customer expectations.We are committed to providing flexible, accessible and relevant academic programmes, in line with customer expectations, international best practice and the requirements of regulatory bodies. Each staff member is responsible for the provision of quality service in executing his/her role. In particular, Academic Staff are expected to design and deliver content that surpasses minimum set standards and requirements.We will periodically review our strategies and academic programmes in order to remain relevant, competitive and to contribute meaningfully to the human capital development in Botswana and beyond. This quality policy is communicated by Executive Management and understood by all Members of staff within the University. It is reviewed at least once in five years for continued suitability and relevance.
